About the event
Yale Certamen was created with two primary goals―to establish a premier, national Certamen tournament accessible to all players, regardless of ability, and to introduce students to Yale and Yale’s Classics Department.
On Saturday, November 11th our teams competed against schools from all over the country at the Yale Invitational Certamen Tournament. All the teams did very well, each competing in a bracket of as many as 21 teams. Here are the results:
Novice:
1st Place - BLS A (Ellie Fung, Lana Nguyen, Silas Rosenburger (Co-MVP), Brian Xu (Co-MVP))
7th Place - BLS B (Michael Bui, Harry Dinh, Meilin Sha, Kanav Vashishth)
13th Place - Wildcard (Theo Neri, Brayden Pandolfi)
