Pie in the Sky (11/21)

Volunteers joined BLSJCL to support the 31st annual Community Servings Pie in the Sky fundraiser. Pie in the Sky is a community bake sale supporting Community Servings efforts to prepare and deliver scratch-made, medically tailored meals and nutrition counseling services to individuals and families across Massachusetts and Rhode Island impacted by critical and chronic illnesses like HIV/AIDS, cancer, diabetes, kidney disease, and more. Volunteers:

• Delivered tins and boxes to baking partners

• Sorted and organized pies

• Oversaw quality control

• Supported distribution to, and staffed at, local pick-up sites across Greater Boston
