about us!
The Boston Latin School Junior Classical League is an organization that looks to promote the knowledge of the classics, Greek and Roman.
It is affiliated to the student organizations MassJCL on the state level and NJCL on the national level.
There are many activities that JCL holds (academics, creative arts, graphic arts, Olympika, etc.). It's for anyone! Another large part of JCL is Certamen, which is a competitive activity where JCLers answer classical-themed questions.
There are many events which the BLSJCL attends, including Classics Day at Boston University, State Convention, and National Convention, which will be at Richmond University in Virginia.

jcl song!
Seeking the best, the highest our goal,
Working for greatness through glories of old,
Searching the realms of the golden past,
We follow the classics' truths that last.
In knowledge, truth, and fellowship, we're growing every day.
The friendly hand of JCL aids in every way In Rome's proud steps we're marching on
With every true colleague.
And forever we'll hold to the purple and gold
Of the Junior Classical League.
