MassJCL "Kick Offs" the New 2019-2020 JCL Year!

BLSJCL journeyed a far 163 miles to Mount Greylock Regional High School for the Annual MassJCL Kickoff. After an eventful general assembly filled with updates, MassJCLers participated in Street Certamen, a graphic design workshop held by members of the MassJCL board, gaming, competing in a marshmallow catapult contest, or went to fight in the Gladiator Games! Veni, vidi, vici! During lunch, MassJCL chapters sold their merch at agora, and participated in Worm Race, which BLSJCL won! Street Certamen then went on, as well as a service workshop held by the MassJCL 2nd Vice President, and more gaming!
And here's the part you've all been waiting for: catapults! BLSJCL placed third, with their catapult launching a magnificent length of about four feet.
After the closing assembly with the top two Coin Wars winners participating in a gladiator fight, BLSJCL ventured back to Boston, stopping along the way for pizza, McDonald's, and Auntie Anne's. Yum!
Thanks to all who attended!
